Hi, I'm Yue (Lily) Li, a Bay Area–based illustrator and designer from China. I earned an MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I create conceptual illustration, surface design, motion and visual storytelling that transform abstract ideas, emotions, and invisible experiences into engaging visual language.

Working across editorial illustration, publishing, poster design, and surface design, I enjoy translating complex concepts into visual language through bold color, expressive composition, conceptual thinking, and creative visual problem-solving.

As a hard-of-hearing artist with cochlear implants, I experience the world from a unique perspective that naturally shapes my creative process. Inspired by sound, perception, memory, diversity, and everyday life, I use illustration to express what is often difficult to see or describe. Whether collaborating with clients or developing personal projects, my goal is to create meaningful and inclusive visual stories that connect ideas, emotions, and people through visual communication.
